Ua Huka is one of the smallest islands of the Marquesas archipelago. The island has only two villages with a few hundred citizens. It is exactly what comes to mind when imagining a place at the end of the world. I took this photo when PlanetSolar was at anchor in Hane Bay. Some friendly locals filled with curiosity invited us to their house and gave us what they had fresh from their garden. Mango, bananas, pomelos, papayas, coconuts and other exotic fruits.
